Waiter and barista robots: Pudu Robotics and Orion Star, spec by spec
Humanoids and warehouse logistics are one half of our catalog. The other half is robots already working the floor of a restaurant or the counter of a coffee shop. Pudu Robotics (Shenzhen) and Orion Star (Beijing) run the widest model lineups in this segment.
Pudu: from dish delivery to floor washing
BellaBot is a waiter robot with dual SLAM positioning (building a map from lidar and vision at once), carrying dishes across the floor with no markers on the ground. KettyBot does similar work but adds a digital ad screen — essentially a reception point and an ad display in one body. PuduBot is a more general-purpose version for restaurants and hotels, while FlashBot can call an elevator on its own and deliver orders between floors without a human — covering a scenario a regular delivery robot simply can't handle.
There's a separate cleaning line. The CC1 combines washing, sweeping, and vacuuming in one unit, with 15- and 17-liter tanks and suction power up to 17,000 Pa. The SH1 is a floor scrubber with instant drying that saves up to 80% on water and detergent compared to a regular mop — a figure straight from the factory spec sheet, not a rounded marketing number.
Orion Star: delivery and a barista robot
The Leopard series covers delivery robots for restaurants, hotels, and warehouses — the factory claims over 20 use cases, from serving dishes to clearing tables.
Then there's the barista robot: two six-axis arms with machine vision brew a cup of coffee in 3 minutes, up to 500 cups a day without stopping. That's roughly a cup every 3 minutes around the clock — a pace physically impossible for a single human barista on one shift.
How to choose
Need floor service in a dining room? BellaBot or PuduBot — the difference is mostly price and sensor package. Multi-floor building where orders need to move between levels? Only FlashBot handles that; the other models simply lack the feature. For large-area cleaning, the CC1 and SH1 cover different jobs (dry and wet cleaning respectively) and are often bought as a pair. Orion Star's barista robot is a different case entirely — not a replacement for a barista at a queue-driven café, but a fit for locations with predictable, high, monotonous order flow.
We show BellaBot, KettyBot, and the barista robot working at the factories in Shenzhen and Beijing as part of the Aura Robotics Tour.
